Audi Australia has released pricing and specification details for the new Audi Q6 e-tron and Audi SQ6 e-tron electric SUV twins ahead of their local release in early 2025.
Touted as Audi’s “most advanced models ever”, the Q6 e-tron and SQ6 e-tron join the smaller Q4 e-tron and the larger Q8 e-tron in Audi Australia’s electric SUV range.
The three-variant Audi Q6 e-tron line-up will be priced from at $115,500 before on-road costs for the rear-wheel drive Audi Q6 e-tron performance.
That compares with a starting price of $84,990 plus on-roads for the base Q4 e-tron and $140,600 plus on-roads for the most affordable Q8 e-tron grade.

For reference, the Q6 e-tron’s closely related sister model, the electric Porsche Macan, has been priced from $133,700 plus on-roads ahead of its local launch later this month.
Additional Sportback variants of both the Q6 and SQ6 – denoted by a swoopier roofline and tweaked styling – will join the regular Q6 and SQ6 wagon models from later in 2025, Audi says.
All Q6 e-tron models usher in evolutionary design advances for the German carmaker, plus a more polished (and more heavily digitised) execution of Audi’s interior layouts.
The latter is headlined by a mammoth MMI panoramic curved display that spans across much of the dashboard, comprising a 14.5-inch MMI touch display, an 11.9-inch ‘virtual cockpit’ digital instrument cluster and a new 10.9-inch touchscreen for the front passenger.
The additional multimedia display offers access to entertainment and key vehicle functions “without distracting the driver”, according to Audi.
Pricing
As mentioned above, this all-new mid-sized luxury electric SUV will be available in three variants.
The entry-level Q6 e-tron performance is rear-wheel drive, the Q6 e-tron quattro adds all-wheel drive capability, plus more power and performance, while the SQ6 e-tron turns up the wick once again on specification and go-fast thrills.

All Q6s are underpinned by five-link front and rear suspension and fitted as standard with variable ratio steering. The Q6 e-tron performance gets passive frequency selective dampers as standard, while other variants upgrade to air suspension.

Warranty and Servicing
The 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron and 2025 Audi SQ6 e-tron are each backed by a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty in Australia.
Additionally, Audi Australia offers six years of complimentary roadside assistance, a 12-year corrosion perforation warranty and an eight-year, 160,000km battery warranty, which is par for the course in the EV industry.
The Audi Q6 e-tron and Audi SQ6 e-tron purchase prices include the installation of a 7kW AC home charger, and a one-year Chargefox public charging subscription. It’s worth pointing out that the Chargefox offer previously extended to six years, but has been shortened as EV uptake broadens.
All Q6 and SQ6 variants have two-year servicing intervals, however, Audi Australia is yet to release service pricing.
