The Chrysler Halcyon Concept, revealed in February 2024, “exemplifies Chrysler’s future vision that embraces sustainable design and full autonomy paired with personalized driving experiences to deliver ‘Harmony in Motion.’” However, we don’t have to wait too long before it influences showroom models.
Confirmation

Before the sporty coupe becomes a direct production reality, styling cues from the concept are set to inspire the Pacifica refresh.
Christine Feuell, the CEO of Chrysler, confirmed to regional radio station AM 800 CKLW, based in Windsor, Ontario, in January 2025, that they will be “picking up some of the design cues” of the Halcyon for the refreshed Chrysler minivan. This came just days after she told CNBC (via Youtube) that both the exterior and interior design elements of the Halcyon is the direction of the future design language across the Chrysler portfolio.
Design
Observing the Halcyon Concept up close, it’s clear that not a whole lot can be borrowed for an existing design like the Pacifica which has fixed hard points. Some of the elements which we feel can be adapted are the cross-car LED DRL, the updated LED lit Chrysler wing on the bonnet, turbine-shaped wheel design, and a sleek continuous light band at the rear to instill the new family look.

Interior
While we’re not sure if this would be engineered into the Pacifica refresh, one feature that we can see future iterations adopt is the next-gen ‘Stow ’n Go’ feature where the rear seats retract into the trunk area. Currently the seats can be folded to create a flat cargo hold, and this should continue to be a talking point in next year’s minivan.
Other features that could reach production are the flexible, textile-infused wood with a microfiber backing, and the Solar White suede, which uses 73% PET bottles, upholstering the seat and door panels of the concept. It’s interesting that Feuell confirmed interior trim updates during her conversation with AM 800 CKLW. We’re also expecting additional color options, currently limited to brown and black.

Powertrain
The Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid facelift will witness changes under the hood, with Feuell mentioning an “updated PHEV battery system.” While there are no details, we think the new Pacifica could switch to a larger battery capacity that gives it a longer EV mode range, up from the 2025 model’s 32-mile EV range
Release Date
Feuell’s interaction confirming the Pacifica facelift’s early 2026 launch timeline came before the U.S. enforced 25% import tariffs on foreign-made automobiles. The gas and plug-in versions of the Pacifica are made in Windsor, Canada, since 2017, and are subject to import tariffs, causing a temporary production pause.
We’ll be revealing the refreshed Chrysler Pacifica first, sometime later this year. It’s slated for production in early 2026.

It remains to be seen how Chrysler handles the Donald Trump administration’s policy changes on imports, and if a local assembly plant is commissioned, and more components are sourced from within the U.S. to decrease the tariff burden. From an official video published on April 16, 2025, the launch plan still appears on track.
We’ve got a lot of new products coming over the next few years, and it’s really starting with a refreshed Pacifica coming next year.

The 2025 Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid starts at $51,055 (MSRP; does not include destination, title, taxes and registration fees). In Q1 2025, the company delivered 32,409 units of the Pacifica, down 2% year-over-year. While a short-term disruption is expected, the Pacifica remains central to the brand’s revival and needs to perform at its best.
