When I hear the word “gladiator,” I think of the famous scene from the movie Airplane! To automotive enthusiasts, they may think of Kaiser Jeep Corporation’s Wagoneer-based pickup. Today, that name has been applied to a pickup version of the Jeep (JT) Wrangler. If your automotive inclinations lean towards the Goldilocks credo of “too much power is ‘just right’,” then this 1,919-mile custom 2023 Jeep Gladiator pickup (Lot #1283) powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat is your porridge. It will cross the block with No Reserve at the Barrett-Jackson 2025 Scottsdale Auction, January 18-26.

The modern Hemi V8 is available for the Wrangler as the Rubicon 392, but Stellantis does not offer similar specifications for the Gladiator. America’s Most Wanted 4X4 combines American muscle with an American icon, with this being the result: an over-the-top off-road utility vehicle that could only be a Jeep.

Of course, we can’t start without mentioning the supercharged Hellcat crate engine, which offers 707 horsepower and plenty more grins. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and connected to a custom Dana 1350 front and rear driveshafts. For the suspension, you’ll find an AMW HEMI-tuned Teraflex 3.5-inch suspension package that includes AMW Falcon 3.3-inch diameter adjustable shocks, springs, front drop brackets, sway bar links, and more.

This Hellcat-powered hellion rides on a set of bronze, 20 x 19-inch Fuel Offroad Flame wheels (with Gorilla Automotive black spline-drive lug nuts) wrapped in Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T tires.

Utterly sensible, this custom-painted Gladiator features unique Mojave 707HP hood decals, Mopar black grille kit, Mopar steel front bumper kit, Rock Slide Engineering running boards, AMW Gladiator tailgate badging, and AMW Hellcat headlight package. You’ll find more AMW items inside, including a gauge cluster and AMW-inspired Hellcat leather seats.

For those who crave adventure and enjoy over-the-top power that only an American vehicle can satisfy, there’s nothing on the docket quite like this 1,919-mile, custom 2023 Jeep Gladiator with Hellcat transplant. You’ll find it at Tent 9, NW-22 in WestWorld at the upcoming Barrett-Jackson 2025 Scottsdale Auction.
