Artcurial Motorcars – ‘Automobiles sur les Champs ’, the auction organized by Artcurial Motorcars, was held October 27th at the Artcurial auction house, attracting enthusiasts and collectors from all over the world. The auction totalled more than €4.5 million ($4.86 million) including fees, with 85% of lots sold and a strong turnout.

A 2010 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG 6.3L sold for €252,700($273,304), while a 2006 BMW Alpina Z8 Roadster fetched €324,220 ($350,655). The Ferrari 250 GTE sold for €254,000 ($274,710).

Some models saw their estimates soar, such as a 1971 Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.3L that sold for €76,290 ($82,510) and a 1996 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur that fetched €83,440 ($90,244) .

The 28 motorbikes on offer also attracted a great deal of interest, totaling more than €252,704 ($273,308). Two MV Agusta models stood out in particular: a 1974 750 Sport sold for €81,000($87,604)and a 1976 750 America for €73,900 ($79,925).

Cars from the André Trigano estate fetched a total of €532,347 ($575,751). A 2013 Mercedes-Benz S500 (W222) Exécutive sold for €57,216 ($61,881), while the 1973 Rolls-Royce Corniche Cabriolet ‘in its original condition’ was a surprise seller, fetching €46,488 ($50,278), above its initial estimate of €14,000-18,000.
