Now on AutoHunter, the auction platform powered by ClassicCars.com, is this 1962 Chevrolet Impala sedan. It draws power from a Turbo-Fire 283ci V8 that routes its output through a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission. Finished in Ermine White over a Red vinyl interior, this third-generation Impala comes from the selling dealer with service records, receipts, mileage statements, and a clear title.

The Ermine White exterior features chrome bumpers, brightwork accents, red side trim, and dual side mirrors.

Below those sweeping lines is a set of 14-inch wheels with Chevrolet wheel covers and a combination of Goodyear Assurance and Kelly Explorer Plus 205/75 radial tires.

The cabin has two rows of bench seating upholstered in red vinyl with red and black striped inserts. Features include a column-mounted automatic shifter, radio-delete plate, heater, and defroster.

Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer, clock, and gauges for the temperature and fuel level. The odometer shows 18,894 miles, which the included documentation indicates is original mileage.

Under the hood is a Turbo-Fire 283ci V8, which is connected to a two-barrel carburetor and a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission.

When it’s time to step off the gas, manual drum brakes bring this Impala to a stop. The selling dealer reports the brake lines, shoes, and wheel cylinders were replaced in 2021.

The auction for this 1962 Chevrolet Impala sedan ends on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 11:45 a.m. (MST).
