Shelby Twp – MI – Explore the works of Albert Kahn, one of the most influential architects of the 20th century — also known as the “Architect of Detroit.” On Sunday, March 16, from 1–2 p.m. at the Packard Proving Grounds, Heidi Pfannes, President of the Albert Kahn Legacy Foundation, will examine the design and history of Packard Sales and Service buildings constructed between 1907 and 1930. Learn how these iconic structures shaped automotive history and innovation. John Cole, former Director of Mechanical Engineering at Albert Kahn Associates, will join for a Q&A session. Admission is $5 for not-yet members and free for members.
