SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Barrett-Jackson rocked out at their 2024 Scottsdale Fall Auction, presented by Gila River Resorts & Casinos, Oct. 10-13 at WestWorld of Scottsdale. The four-day automotive lifestyle event featured 794 collectible vehicles that sold for more than $55 million, with a 99.9 percent sell-through rate. In addition, 429 pieces of authentic automobilia sold for more than $1.6 million, bringing total auction sales to more than $56.6 million, with more than 40 world auction record sales. The most electrifying sale was on Saturday, when rock ‘n’ roll megastar Sammy Hagar was on the block for the sale of his 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari that sold for $4.675 million.
“We’re thrilled to wrap up our 2024 events with such an electrifying auction in our hometown of Scottsdale with the excitement of our traditional January event,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “The energy throughout the auction culminated when the ‘Red Rocker,’ Sammy Hagar, drove his 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari onto the block with his wife, Kari, to his hit song ‘I Can’t Drive 55.’ It was another historic moment for Barrett-Jackson that reinforced the collector car hobby is thriving. - 2019 Ford GT – $880,000
- 2022 Ferrari SF90 Stradale Assetto Fiorano – $599,500
- 1962 Chevrolet Corvette Custom Roadster – $550,000
- 2023 Ferrari SF90 Stradale Assetto Fiorano – $528,000
- 1971 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Coupe – $506,000
- 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 – $462,000
- 1968 Ford Mustang Eleanor Tribute Edition – $451,000
- 2006 Ford GT – $423,500
- 2023 Rolls-Royce Cullinan Mansory Edition – $396,000
The Automobilia Auction included 429 items that sold for more than $1.6 million. The top automobilia pieces that sold during the Scottsdale Fall Auction included:
- 1920s Texaco Oil Visible Gas Pump – $80,500
- Large Circa 1950s American Flag Porcelain with Animated Neon Sign – $47,725
- 1931 Texaco Oil Butler #30 Visible Gas Pump – $40,250
- Circa 1940s Mobil Oil Socony-Vacuum Aviation Products Porcelain with Neon Sign – $40,250
- 1940s Muny Bait & Tackle Shop Neon Tin Sign (Lot #9493) – $34,500
Among the most impactful moments of the auction were the sale of two charity vehicles that together raised $1.25 million. General Motors donated the first retail production Cadillac Escalade IQ VIN 001 that sold for $550,000, with 100 percent of the hammer price benefiting Detroit Children’s Fund.
On Friday, several longtime Barrett-Jackson friends and philanthropists showed their generosity. Mike and Tracy Patterson donated a 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for an important charity sale, which was purchased by Michelle Mauzy for $350,000. Mauzy donated the vehicle back to be sold again, this time to Joe Riley for an additional $250,000. The Pattersons made a further $100,000 donation, bringing the total amount raised to $700,000; the funds will directly benefit Samaritan’s Purse to aid in hurricane relief efforts on the East Coast. To date, Barrett-Jackson has raised over $156 million for charity.
